For those you who didn’t know, this February 22 is National Margarita Day. It also so happens to be my birthday, so double whammy! I think I’ll celebrate both by double fisting iced margaritas made with some overpriced tequila. In the left hand I’ll go with the Cadillac Margarita. Here is an easy Cadillac Margarita recipe. 2 oz. Cuervo 1800 Tequila - 1/2 oz. Grand Marnier - 2 oz. Lime Juice Pour them all over ice in a tall mixing glass, shake it up, strain it into an ice cold cocktail glass, put some salt on the rim if you’d like, and slap on a garnishing lime wheel. Your Cadillac Margarita is good to go.
In the right hand, we’ll go with the Key West Margarita. Here’s the Key West Margarita recipe. 1 1/2 oz. Tequila - 1 oz. Melon Liqueur - 1 oz. Pina Colada Mix - 1/2 oz. Lime Juice - 1/2 oz. Orange Juice - Dash of Grenadine - 1/2 cup of Crushed Ice
Throw all these ingredients into a blender, set it on slow, and give it a whirl until smooth. Pour it into a glass and drink up. Feel free to celebrate my birthday with your choice margarita. Oh yeah, and Happy National Margarita Day to all, and too all a not-so-sober night. If you’ve got some Margarita recipes that you think will make this National Margarita Day all that more special, please send them my way. So Says the Internet Gatekeeper!

Hey Internet Gatekeeper, Great Margarita Recipes…I just 4 of each and they were great! Here are a couple of my favorite recipes: 1 can of frozen Limeade Put the frozen Limeade in a blender, fill the Limeade can 3/4 full of tequila and 1/4 full of Triple Sec. Add ice and a little Sprite, blend and enjoy. Post a comment
